October 16-22: Photo Project Week 42

We’ve been traveling all this week. We started in South Carolina visiting our daughter who is a university student there.

October 16 – Tulip Poplar

I love Tulip Poplars. I love that in the South they grow ninety feet tall. They are absolutely gorgeous.

October 17 – Spanish Moss

This plant, which is really a bromeliad, is neither a moss nor Spanish. It’s everywhere here in Florida.

October 18 – Anthurium

This beautiful plant is one of my mother-in-law’s amazing plants that she grows in Florida. This plant doesn’t even look real.

October 19 – Orchid

My mother-in-law’s orchids are amazing. They are 5 feet tall and seem to bloom no matter the time of year.

October 20 – Spiderwort?

I’m not really sure what it is, but it’s purple and I’ve only seen it in the South.

October 21 – Pizza Crust for Many

Yesterday we made personal pizzas in Douglas’ brother’s pizza oven. While my sister-in-law was occupied and my brother-in-law was at work, we made the all the pizza crusts. They were amazing.

October 22 – Jungle Geranium

This plant is native to the Indian Subcontinent and it beautiful red/orange.
