February 27 – March 5: Photo Project Week 9

The sun has been shining all week. For that I am so thankful.

February 27, 2022 – Friedhof (Cemetery)

This cemetery is a five minute walk from our house. It is so peaceful and the gentle evening sun added to the peace of the place. Who were these people? What did they do? The plots are lovingly cared for and the plantings are changed with the seasons.

February 28, 2022 – Cornelian or Dogwood Cherry

These Trees are happily blooming right now. Against the gorgeous blue of the sky they are the brightest.

March 1, 2022 – English Ivy berries?

I had no idea that English Ivy had berries like these. The ivy here is prolific and EVERYWHERE. It is God’s grace to have evergreens that bring colour through the winter.

March 2, 2022 – First daffodils

These little guys were the first ones blooming that I’ve seen. They are so sheltered and so it was nice and warm for them to grow.

March 3, 2022 – Homeschooling

Eric has been working so hard on school. I had to get a picture of him. I am proud of him.

March 4, 2022 – Rushing

This picture was not my best. We were on a walk and I just didn’t take the time to set my camera correctly for the light, nor did I hold still long enough. But sometimes, we just rush and in the end we don’t do our job well. Life lessons are tough.

March 5, 2022 – Embers

“For as the same fire causes gold to glow brightly, and chaff to smoke; and under the same flail the straw is beaten small, while the grain is cleansed.”

St. Augustine

May the Lord bless you this week.
