It’s been awhile since I have posted. We moved to Germany in July and life just seemed to get away from me. I’m not intentional about many things, and for some reason, I have felt that I just can’t manage anything extra except feeding our family and homeschooling.
But, that being said, 2022 is here and I am trying to find a creative outlet. Oh, I love to bake, but here in Germany I don’t have the space to keep baked goods and so I feel a bit frustrated about it. I received a new camera for Christmas. Not a professional one, but a better one that the 13 year old Nikon that I have used. With smart phones my camera has been stuck in the closet collecting dust. But in the fall, after travelling to a couple of close-by towns, I realized that my 13 year old camera could not compete with my phone for clarity, so I asked for a new one for Christmas.
I received a new lens for my birthday and just picked it up yesterday, but I haven’t used it in a daily photo yet. My goal is to really learn to use my camera to its full potential.
I want to use this camera and not rely on my cell-phone, so I created a #365photoproject on Instagram. My goal this year is to take one picture a day with my camera and then once a week, I want to write a blog about those photos and share with the world.
I am not a professional at all. I want to be able to edit well and although Lightroom overwhelms me, I am trying to learn it so that I can edit pics and maybe they’ll brighten your day. May the photos I take be for God’s glory and maybe they’ll brighten your day as well. May this be a project that brings peace to all those who see them.

Thanks all. I hope you will be patient as I learn to take and edit my pictures.
May the Lord bless all of you this year.
