Trying

I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.”—Michael Scott.

The following was an Instagram Post. A Friend asked that I post it on my blog.

I called the Tupperware customer service line this morning to order replacement pieces for my 16 year old Tupperware that has broken.

It took 9 minutes on the phone which is a lot different than the 3 hours that I was on hold in October.

I also called the vet for an appointment for Strider.

This all sounds like a great start to a Monday. But….

Those are scary words to my brain.

I’m afraid of great starts because I’m afraid that around the door from good news lurks bad news. My heart has a hard time enjoying the good because bad seems to be just in the shadows.

Really, my heart has a hard time trusting God and seeing and enjoying His good when so much bad has happened.

Lord, help my unbelief.
