May 8-14: Photo Project Week 19

May 8, 2022 – Verge Flowers #1

I have absolutely no idea what this is. It’s a weed that grows on the verge between the sidewalk and the road. But the tiny delicate flowers caught my eye.

May 9, 2022 – Clover. Oh I love clover. The bees and butterflies love it too. Even though it’s a weed, it would be a dream to have this in our yard instead of grass. Our backyard has so little sunlight because of oak trees, which isn’t a bad thing, but prevents lots of good quality greenery on the floor.
May 10, 2022 – Allium

Hundreds of flowers on a single stalk. The creativity of God is incomprehensible. I love the spring bulb flowers. I love that in this climate, there is such variety as there was in the desert too. God concerns himself with such beauty. I am thankful that I am able to soak it in.

May 11, 2022 – Hedge Mustard

Small verge weeds with such delicate heads again. Even the weeds show the genius of God.

May 12, 2022 – Castle on a Hill – Stahleck Castle

We spent the mid-day on a boat on the Rhine River. Living in Europe and with a love a history, the age of every castle and palace and wall is sometimes overwhelming. The Middle Ages were a real thing, not just something from history textbooks. I love every view of European Architecture.

May 13, 2022 – Bleeding Hearts

Little dancers waiting for their stage entrance.

May 14, 2022 – Indoor Plants

These plants will be dead shortly. I do not do well with indoor plants. I’m so glad it was easier keeping small humans alive rather than organisms with chlorophyll. I am hoping that these will stay alive for longer than a month.
